Colbeh, Persian Iranian restaurant, London W2

Colbeh, Persian Iranian restaurant, London W2

Full Description

Summary:      A Persian / Iranian restaurant mid-way between Marylebone, Paddington and Marble Arch, which seems to bring about very opposing views ranging from “the best Persian restaurant in London” to “I’ll never go there again”.  The quality of the food is equally debated, but the chef from a local, well-rated Indian restaurant thinks it’s fantastic, as do others.  The service is frequently criticised as unfriendly, but it seems to be prompt, unless they are very busy.  No alcohol served, but you can bring your own, which can make for a very reasonably-priced meal out.  They don’t serve tap water, only bottled water.
Address:     6 Porchester Place, London, W2 2BS.
Telephone:     020 7706 4888
Price Range:      Three dishes, suitable for a lunch, for around £12.
