He specialises in re-inventing British national dishes in this style. Expensive, but go if you can afford it. It's an experience not to be missed. -

Modern British fine dining in a beautiful wooden-beamed old building, although the restaurant itself is a bit starkly modern and serious looking. The bar and private dining areas are full of old oak beams. The food is excellent. -

Two Michelin-starred restaurant owned by chef Phil Howard. Ultra fine dining, with a very reasonably priced set lunch menu, and three course à la carte for £80 a head. Wine is expensive, but can be bought by the glass.
