Summary:     Small, stylish restaurant owned and run by chef John Robinson, who provides fine dining cuisine, rated by the Good Food Guide and Michelin.  Also has accommodation (4 double rooms). The à la carte menu style is unusual, e.g. literally “Red Mullet – basil – mozzarella – butterbean – truffle”, or “Chicken and black pudding – beetroot – truffle – sultanas”, but it is clear what you are getting!    Menus change regularly.

Price Range:      À la carte: starters £8.95, mains £18.95 to £19.50, desserts £6.50, selection of cheeses £8.   Set menu (week days only): Lunch – 2 courses £15.50, 3 courses £17.95; Dinner (Tue-Thurs) – 2 courses £18.50, 3 courses £22.50.   Tasting menu available Friday and Saturday evenings only (or by prior arrangement Tue, Wed, Thurs): £50 a head (to be ordered by whole table), for 9 courses.
